Hawaii Islands

                     Hawaii is a name of famous islands in United States.  It includes over 100 islands. From these islands 8 are main. Only seven islands have population.  It is locked in south side of Japan.  Among 50 states of America it is one near North Pacific Ocean.  The main eight islands are Hawaii, Maui, Oahu, Kauai, Molokai, Lanai, Niihau, and Kahoolawe.  These islands are very beautiful and great Assets of United States.

                     Hawaii islands are not only a tropical beach, but also world famous high ranked beaches. The main eight islands are described below 

                     

                     Big island Hawaii: It is the biggest island among all. It covers more than 4,028 square miles. According to the report of 2010, over 185,079 people lives here. Here density of population is 45.95 per sq mile. The highest place of this island is Mauna Kea. It is 13,803 feet high above sea. Maui is second Highs Island here. Over 144,444 people lives in this Maui Island (report of 2010). This large amount of people lives in 77727.2 sq mile. Agricultural products, tourism etc are the main ways of Maui’s economy. Coffee, flowers, sugar, pineapple etc are mail agricultural product here. Haleakala is the height places here, which is 10023 feet high. 

                       The total area of Oahu is 597 sq km which is third in position. This Oahu is well known as the gathering place. It is 20^th largest island in United States.  Honolulu is the place which is the capital of this state. The main popular and attractive places are Ala Moana, Diamond Head, Honolulu, Kaena Point, USS Arizona Missouri, Triple Crown of surfing, Pali Lookout, North Shore, Polynesian Cultural Center etc. Beaches are also great attraction to the visitors. The famous beaches are Hanauma Bay, Sunset bay, Sandy bay, Waikiki Beach, Waimea Bay etc. 

                       Kauai is known as The Garden Isle. It covers 562.3 sq miles of area which is 4^th in position. According to report of 2010 over 66,921 people live here. The highest point of Kauai is Kawaikini. This is a fertile land and coffee, sugarcane, banana, star fruit, kava, mango etc grows well here. Molokai covers 260 sq miles and it is in 5^th position here. The Friendly Isla (Molokai) is a place where 7,345 people lives. Lanai, Niihau and Kahoolawe are also most visited and popular places in Hawaii. Lanai is 6^th, Niihau is 7^th and Kahoolawe is 8^th in position. The Pineapple Isle, Forbidden Isla and Target Isla are their nickname.
